Allison Wilson, CPA, is the Vice President of Finance at Metro Mechanical. She is responsible for the organization’s finance and accounting functions and provides executives, managers, and stakeholders with financial information and analytical data to make informed economic decisions.
As a second-generation owner of Metro Mechanical, Allison worked her way through various roles while in high school and college before joining the company full-time in 2010 as a Senior Accountant. She most recently served as Controller before assuming her current role as Vice President of Finance. Prior to joining Metro Mechanical, Allison worked as a staff auditor and accountant at high-profile organizations, including CSpire.
Allison received the 2009 Silas Simmons Bronze Medal Award for earning the third-highest CPA examination score in Mississippi and, in 2010, became a state-certified public account. Her professional career includes serving as the President of the Mississippi Young CPA Network, and Chairman of the Industry Committee and Young CPA Liaison Committee for the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA). She is currently a member of the MSPCA, the Central Chapter of the MSCPA, and the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants.
Allison is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Mississippi State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Accountancy and a Master of Professional Accountancy. She also completed several executive and career courses, including the Karrass Negotiating School, the Dale Carnegie Skills for Success, and the Mississippi ABC Construction Leadership Institute.
